I’m using today as an opportunity to share the light that lives in my mind with you.
Whether you’re celebrating the lights of Christmas, Hanukkah or another holiday tradition, chances are likely that you are experiencing a brighter and more peaceful frame of mind than usual.
We are in a season where good will arises and kind thoughts and intentions are in greater evidence. Many are willing to open hearts and minds to their fellow man in ways that are both tangible and spiritual.
When I awoke this morning – Christmas Eve – I reflected upon what holiday message I could bring to visitors at my Maura4u site. What thoughts and ideas could I publish that would capture and convey the blessings that are always with me but might be more readily received during the holiday season?
My thoughts suddenly alighted upon a video I created one night while visiting the Romanian Athenaeum concert hall in Bucharest, Hungary. It was perfect for sharing holiday wishes because it featured magical lights . . . and captured a piece of my mind!
With construction that dates back to the late 1800s, the Anthenaeum’s history includes a 1919 conference that unified the Old Romanian Kingdom with Bessarabia, Bukovina and Transylvania (yes, Transylvania!).
The gilded concert hall combines the solidity of vintage royalty with an ethereal and heavenly appeal. For me, the Athenaeum’s majestic interplay of crystal and light provided a rarefied visual. Inspired, I asked my husband to film me so I could share what the contents of my mind might look like to others.
Imagine if we all shared the thoughts and intents of our mind in a similar state of light?
I find my home in a marvelous light that lives perpetually and ever more brightly in my mind.
And because that light emanates from a universal love, I am compelled to share it with others.
Now that you’ve seen the contents of my mind, allow me to convey the light that is also in yours.
Our thoughts can become easily clouded by conflicts, controversies and worries. But beyond the smokescreens of these distractions lies the perfect peace of God. It’s eternally present and found in the singularity and oneness of Light.
You are a light and the world has been waiting to marvel upon your brilliance. As you choose to remember to shine from that inner light, many will recognize their own.
Why wait for the holiday season to shine your light? You can radiate
love, peace, warmth and good will to the world every day of the year!
Wishing you the brightest of blessings today . . . and every day of your life!
