However, Denver’s popular cross-over song struck a far more personal chord in all his listeners’ hearts when it debuted on the charts in 1971. We knew, as he did, that there remains a place in the heart that we all call home. Whether we’re in a bustling city, a small town or somewhere in the wide open expanse of the West, we know we’re arrived at it when our heart feels happy and at rest.
