The ultimate talking head on sports!

To tell you I’m the actual Creator of MIKE is a major exaggeration, kind of like MIKE himself.

The major brains behind MIKE is my husband Jim, who, after too many years of having lots of angst and never speaking up, decided to give rise to this alter ego – yet, apparently not without me.

“What do you think we ought to name him?” Jimmy once asked during one of our walks. 

“Gee, I don’t know.  How about MIKE? Maybe with his last name being Raffone?”

Without any background or interest in sports, I’ve somehow happily emerged as co-creator, co-writer and deputy-in-residence of this literal Talking Head on Sports. I guess you’d say my job is that of Publisher of New Vision Entertainment LLC’s MIKE property, while overseeing everything on the www.theemike.com site.

Despite his small stature, it apparently takes two people to keep MIKE’s big head, and big mouth, in check.    

I absolutely love MIKE, and who wouldn’t? An adult character with the heart of a kid, MIKE’s wise to the world yet innocent in intention. As the first Titanium-American and Independent Republicrat, MIKE masters the role of  equal opportunity offender.  MIKE faithfully draws attention to nonsense wherever it shows up, brings it to an entirely new level of the absurd, then forces the world take notice.
